Occupational therapy is a client-centered health profession that focuses on helping individuals achieve independence in their daily activities. It involves the assessment and intervention of physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges that may hinder a person's ability to perform tasks at home, work, or in social settings. Occupational therapists work with people of all ages, using therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to enhance their quality of life. The goal is to empower clients to engage in meaningful activities, promoting overall well-being and functional abilities.
